Chicken Manure for Power – Renewable Electricity

There is a large biomass power plant in the Netherlands that is currently running on chicken manure. This power plant will deliver renewable electricity to 90,000 households. This biomass power plant has a capacity of 36.5 megawatts, and will generate more than 270 million kWh of electricity per year.
