Stylish Retro-Polka Bamboo Kids’ Apparel

December 7, 2009 | Filled Under Eco-Friendly Fashion

bamboo-baby-clothesGreen Sproutlets, a hip, eco-friendly children’s clothing company announced their first collection called “Retro-Polka” Collection. As the name suggests, their focus is to provide eco-friendly (“green”) children’s apparel and accessories to our precious little ones (“sproutlets”).

The new eco line consists of beanies, bibs, burp cloths, hooded blankets, kimono bodysuits, tees and pants, available in infant and toddler sizes. The eco clothing is made with bamboo and organic cotton fabrics. All dyes used are low-impact and the inks are water-based. Making this new trendy tot collection safe for the environment and our children.

I have to hand it to Green Sproutlets, the new bamboo kids apparel is cool! i am a huge fan of trendy clothing, especially when it is eco-friendly too!

Bamboo is great when used as fabric since it is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, hypoallergenic, very breathable and very absorbent as opposed to conventional fabrics.
