Benenson Strategy Group conducted an interview of 1,000 participants on global warming. The polling showed that the majority of Americans believe global warming is happening despite recent controversies surrounding climate scientists.
“The American people can’t be more clear when it comes to solving global warming: they want the U.S. to be Rudolph out in front of the sleigh, leading the world toward a clean energy future,” said Jeremy Symons, senior vice president of NWF. “There is overwhelming public support for the Senate to pass legislation with firm limits on carbon pollution that will stimulate massive new investments in clean energy technologies.”
The overwhelming majority of Americans – more than 80 percent — support action to limit carbon pollution and move the U.S. toward a clean energy future, according to a new poll released today by National Wildlife Federation.
American voters demonstrate a strong desire for the U.S. to transition toward a low-carbon economy, with strong support among Independents.
Democrats and Independents overwhelmingly acknowledging global warming is real while Republicans remain significantly less united in their skepticism.

All average global temperatures since 1895 are predicted by a simple model. There was no need to consider change to the level of CO2 or any other greenhouse gas. Global warming stopped in 2004.
The model, with an eye-opening graph, is presented in the October 16 pdf at http://climaterealists.com/index.php?tid=145&linkbox=true.
This model predicted the ongoing temperature decline trend. None of the 20 or so models that the IPCC uses do.
