Organic Sleepy Wrap Baby Carrier {Review & Giveaway} CLOSED

I have been a proud babywearing mommy for the last 7 years and only wish I had of know about baby carriers when my oldest son was a baby. I am sure babywearing was around, but you sure never heard about it. (at least I never did). Since the birth of my 2nd child, babywearing has become a part of my life. The benefits of wearing a baby are not limited to just a bonding experience, but also a convenience for mommy too! More benefits of babywearing.
Being able to breastfeed in public discreetly, being able to hold baby and vacuum or do dishes and hands-free baby carrying are just a few of the many benefits of babywearing! With five children at home I need all the extra help I can get, and baby carriers have been an excellent tool for me! I am able to cuddle my babies all day and keep up with housework, chase other kids and have my hands-free to do what ever I need to; all while making my baby feel safe and secure!
A baby carrier is the perfect answer for the mom (or dad) who has a “hold-me” baby or for the parent on the go that wants a physical relationship with their baby! The old saying that you will spoil him if you hold him to much”, is far from the truth, right along with the “let him cry it out” theory. Parents who opt to try babywearing will find quickly that babies will fall asleep faster and sleep better when carried! Harvard Researchers even say children need touching and attention.
Over the last several years I have searched for a baby sling or carrier that was comfortable for me and for my baby. I have tested and tried many different styles of baby carriers from, the tight pouches, baby wraps to ring slings and now the organic sleepy wrap. All slings or carriers are not created equal and all are designed differently; offering differnt ages for use and carring positions.
The last month I have had the opportunity to test out the Organic Sleepy Wrap with my 5 month old. I have used it almost daily for the last month and LOVE it. The carrier is made of soft organic cotton and made as a one-size-fits-all.
With my 5 month old being a very “needy” baby, he wants mommy holding him at all times. I have bounced around with different carriers for the last 5 months determined to find a good fit, for not only me, but for him also. The sleepy wrap is made to fit snuggly around the parent and stretches to conform to baby and keep baby close to the chest. Some carriers/slings on the market are not designed to keep baby very close, and to me that is important. I feel more comfortable if I can feel the baby snugly with my body for safety reasons.
We have enjoyed walks daily, shopping, house chores and we both were comfortable! Unlike many carriers, the Organic Sleepy Wrap is designed to distribute the weight equally across your shoulders and your whole back, so the carring parent is not straining their body. The carrier stretches out over the shoulders to your comfort, so ensure a good fit, you are comfortable with! Once on, the wisth of the shoulder area can be adjusted to your comfort!
At first I was a bit scared by the one-size-fits-all, because many baby carriers are now designed by sizes. Selecting the best size is not as easy as it may seem! The Sleep Wrap fit me perfectly! Now, I am not a “model” mommy at all, which has made it hard for me to fit my slings and baby carriers. The Sleepy Wrap is designed to be used by all parents! I really like the fact we can have one sling and the entire family can use it!
My experience with the Organic Sleep Baby Wrap has been wonderful and I have enjoyed using my new carrier! This is definatley a 5 star baby wrap, no questions asked!

I think I really need a sleepy wrap. I’ve spoiled my baby so much by holding him constantly and now I’m screwed. I can’t get anything done. I planned on buying one of these exact ones before I had the baby, and now things are crazy. I also have a 3 year old, so going places would be a ton easier.
