I just found this on another site. Check it out!

In the official Eminence letter responding to the complaint to the USDA, Eminence says,

“Eminence continues to offer products certified by the Demeter Association, the only global certifier of Organic and Biodynamic products...”

The products in the “Biodynamic Collection” say “certified organic” on the label but interestingly do not have any official logo or reference to an organization.

Demeter was asked about the situation and they say,

“Eminence’s current Trader certification… allows use of the BIODYNAMIC certification mark in the ingredient list only...” Demeter goes on to state that, “Marketing and labeling must not mislead the consumer into thinking the product qualifies as DEMETER CERTIFIED BIODYNAMIC.”

But Eminence shamelessly seems to be continuing to do just that.

You can go to their website www.eminenceorganics.com and click on the biodynamic image which will take you to their new statement about their relationship to Biodynamic. This statement, which shows they have rephrased their statements and renamed their products from Biodynamic Collection to Beyond Organic Collection, talks about their “biodynamic farms” now. BUT THEY STILL HAVE "CERTIFIED ORGANIC" ON THEIR "BIODYNAMIC" PRODUCT LABELS!!! I know they have a few minor products certified by USDA but I am not talking about these.

Wow!!!

This is good. Those of us who truly are 100% organic, we work hard to get there and to become certified. I wish more consumers knew what to look for when it comes to finding *TRUE* organics.
.-= Ed´s last blog ..<a href="http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/we-are-offically-certified-organic/">Announcement: We Are Offically Certified Organic!</a> =-.
