Modern Wooden Trike For The Green Sprout

January 17, 2010 | Filled Under Eco-Friendly Toys

How cute is this Wooden Trike? I just so happen to stumble upon it today while looking for a new trike for my “green sprout”. I instantly fell in love with the whimsical design and environmentally-friendly materials used to create this modern children’s bike. Children can maneuver this well designed children’s pedal toy around which develops their balance, strength, leg muscles, and quick movement of the body (kinesthetic).

Created by PlanToys, a Green toy company holds high standards for their line of wooden toys. Plan Toys is a green company that created educational and imaginative toys all while respecting the environment. PlanToys simplicity in design is combined with innovative use of materials and real-valued function encouraging more creative play in a good learning environment.

PlanToys practices the “Three R’s” of green living: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The manufacturing processes are designed to reduce waste and save energy, all while creating eco-friendly toys for our  green sprouts!

Currently available at BabyEarth for $126
