Greener Pup Eco-Friendly Dog Beds {Review & Giveaway} CLOSED

Often, people overlook the family pet when they are considering eco-friendly options, forgetting that our beloved cats & dogs can harm the eco-system just as humans do. If your working towards living a greener lifestyle, your pet should also be apart of your effort!
In my home, my dogs are just as “green” as the rest of the family. We have an English Bulldog and a French Bulldog, both being just as spoiled as the children; just with eco-friendly products! From holistic dog foods, to sustainable hemp leashes and eco-friendly pet goods, I try to reduce my dogs carbon paw-print as much as my own.
Finding pet products created with recycled materials or made with sustainable sources is a great start to “greening your pet care”, and today, more companies are offering eco-pet products.
{Meet Greener Pup; The Eco-friendly Dog Bed Company}
Every dog deserves a comfy bed, just like our kids!
I am honored to introduce you to Greener Pup (greenerpup.com), an eco-friendly dog bed company. Created by Kari Whitman, Hollywood interior designer, dog rescuer and environmental advocate. Kari’s “design with paws in mind” for her celebrity clients like Jessica Alba, Kristen Bell and Virginia Madsen led to the creation of her line of custom dog beds, that are created with recycled and upcycled materials!
Greener Pup was created after Kari searched for earth-friendly dog beds for a celebrity client who was going entirely green. The products Kari found were either unstylish — or not eco-friendly. Kari ended up combing her passion and talents and the result was Greener Pup!

Jessica Alba, Virginia Madsen, Mandy Moore, Alicia Silverstone, and other celebrities have not only teamed up with Greener Pup but also love the earth friendly dog beds!
100% of ALL Greener Pup profits goes to Ace of Hearts, a dog rescue founded by Greener Pup owner, Kari. So, while consumers are purchasing earth friendly dog beds for a spoiled pooch, the profits are going to help an animal less fortunate.
Greener Pup currently offers a round dog bed, rectangular bed, cuddle bug rectangular and round soft beds in sizes XS-XL, in many different patterns. Pup beds are affordable and beds purchased for rescued dogs are 25% off!
{What’s Green About Greener Pup}
All dog bed covers are created from UpCycled materials, meaning the fabrics used are overstock, discontinued, or have minor imperfections. Using these fabrics saves thousands of yards of material from the landfills.
The dog bed filling is made with 100% recycled plastic. Each pound of bed filling saves 10 plastic water/soda bottles from being trash. Each dog bed is filled with 7-12 pounds of filling, meaning 70-120 plastic bottles are recycled into each bed!
{My Experience With the Greener Pup Dog Bed}
Greener Pup sent me a large rectangular bed for review. Or should I say, for my dog to review.
Let me start off by saying, I loved the idea behind these dog beds from the moment I learned of them! A product designed for dog health & comfort that is animal and planet friendly AND helps save abused, injured and abandoned animals. How is that for an eco-animal-friendly product?

My first impression of the dog bed was “wow, this is a comfy looking bed”. The dog bed is very full and fluffy, now I see why they say the beds are overstuffed! I have saw some skimpy looking dog beds in the past, and you can tell at first glance these beds are well made and far from skimpy.
The removable cover is easy to remove for washing and easy to replace. I have washed the bed two times and did not experience any shrinking (if so, it was minimal and you could not tell) and the pattern did not fade at all.
From the looks of it, Lundin (my English Bulldog) has enjoyed laying, playing, and sleeping on her new Greener Pup dog bed! It did not take long at all to get her interested in lounging in her new bed! Actually in a matter of minutes she was off to check out the newly addition to the living room and made herself right at home!
I am so impressed not only with the dog bed but the inspiration behind Greener Pup and the effort Kari has put into making her rescue a success! Way to go Greener Pup!
The Dog Has Spoken- Bye Bye old dog bed, she likes her new bed the best! I guess we will be donating her old dog bed to our local animal shelter.
