As a mom of 5, I am always in need of clothing! When shopping I not only consider style but also consider the social and environmental aspects of all clothing for my children. After-all, how can I teach my children to be “green” if I am not!

The company responded with an adorable collection of baby and toddler apparel and accessories! The Retro-Polka Collection features bodysuits, t-shirts, pants, baby beanies, blankets, bibs and burp cloths in fun super cool colors; for boys and girls!

Green Sproutlets sent me a blue polka kimono bodysuit for review. The bodysuit collection for babies is made of 70% Viscose from Bamboo and 30% Organic Cotton, printed with low-impact dyes and water-based inks. The first thing I noticed was how soft the bodysuit was and the adorable layered sleeves! I love the look of layers and the baby bodysuit captures the look with style, and baby Gage looked adorable in the onesie!

I had him wear the blue polka kimono bodysuit many times so I could see how it held up to normal “baby abuse”. From getting spit-up on, baby food spilled on and being washed several times. No stains set in and it did not fade at all, even after 12 washes! Even after 12 washes, it was just as soft as the day it arrived!
