Hi There,
Our greatest green find has been the Carebags reusables that come out of Canada. A friend sent some to me and I’ve since ordered off their site to send out to my family. They are stretchy mesh reusable drawstring bags for your fruit, vegetables, nuts, rice, grains, for wrapping your Christmas cake before soaking with brandy, or sifting the lumps out of homemade ice cream, to contain a glass wine bottle in my grocery bag so it doesn’t break. The list goes on and on. We’ve got several sets ’cause there always in use. My teenager uses one for her basketball gear, yes! they even stretch to accommodate all that. Its a brilliant solution to those nasty plastic bags on the roll at grocery stores.
Anyway that’s my green plug. Their website is http://www.carebagsonline.com
Happy New Year!
