When I shop for my children I always try to buy natural or organic fabric clothing, as much as possible. The thought of pesticides, chemical ridden dyes, and uncomfortable apparel on my kids just does not sit well with me, so my only option is to purchase what I feel is best. When it comes to cute kids clothes there are so many options! As more companies recognize the demand for natural and organic fiber clothing and how consumers feel about sustainable resources, these types of clothes are going mainstream.

Back in 2004, first time mom, Amy, wanted a line of clothing for her baby that was natural and did not produce any additional damage to the planet. In 2006 Babysoy was launched by Amy and life-long friend, David. Babysoy has grown rapidly with the support of eco-concious parents, boutiques, eco-celebrities and baby & mommy medias. Babysoy offers a complete line of baby layettes to help green parents start a healthy lifestyle with their babies while feeling good about a greener planet.

Their adorable collection of baby clothing is made from soybean protein fiber. Soybean protein fiber is a sustainable and botanical textile fiber made from renewable and biodegradable natural resource. Soybean fiber is a soft, light, and smooth protein fiber. It is smoother than cashmere and has the same moisture absorption as cotton but with a better moisture transmission, making it more comfortable on the skin. It is hydroscopic, air pervious, soft, smooth, dry and has superior warmth retention that’s comparable to wool.

Not only does Babysoy produce eco-friendly apparel, they also give back to the community! Babysoy donates and support organizations like, Half The Sky, World Vision, and Healthy Child Healthy World. I’m not sure about you, but I love supporting businesses who give back!

I recently had the opportunity to receive a soy modern romper for review.The romper arrived and just as the company claims, it is soft! I am talking super soft, it reminds me of the micro-fiber texture or a silky minky.

The main color is a cream, with chocolate lining both legs of the romper and neck line, and bold purple short sleeves. (shown to the left middle of the picture) The colors look fabulous together. While I think the color combination is unisex, my hubby seems to think boys can not wear purple. I sure think Baby G looks adorable in the romper and the colors look nice with his blueish eyes and warm skin! I absolutely love the modern color combo of the romper I received and the other two combination!

The romper is well made, with nice seams, and a medium weight fabric. The romper is in no way thin, but it also not to thick either. It’s perfect. The bottom snaps shut for easy diaper changes and the leg sports the cute babysoy logo tag. One thing I really love is the tagless neck area! tags in shirts and outfits seem to irritate Baby G, and this outfit is tag free!

Babysoy’s sizing is true to size and everything is pre-shrunk. There is nothing more frustration than buying clothes that fit and after they are washed they no longer fit! I’ve washed this romper 5 times since we have had it, with no color fading, button rusting, or misshaping. It fits the same today as it did the day it arrived. One thing I can not stand about kids clothes is mis-shaping when washed! The Babysoy romper has done well. The company recommends washing in cold water (which I already do) and drying.

{My Experience with Babysoy}

It’s been great! My romper arrived quickly and just as it was described online! Actually, even better! Their website is not just cute, but it is very user-friendly! I have come across baby clothes made of less quality for double the price! Babysoy not only offers baby and eco-friendly apparel (and other goodies), but they also offer us moms the opportunity to afford better products for our kids!

Babysoy, you ROCK! I mean really really rock and I am proud to put Baby G in his romper! (Now I have to get my hands on the chocolate one)
