All would love to read this feature on ‘Eco friendly nursery furniture.’ Kids must be kept happy when they are playing around in the nursery. Children should enjoy themselves when they are alone. The mini library looks not bad. Kids love reading and toys. If you are furnishing your house, try using cavity barriers.

I really love the oeuf classic mini library, it’s extreamly aesthetically pleasing to look at and if it came in ‘grown up’ size I’d be quite interested in having it BUT I have some concerns about the product for a child. 1) it looks like a piece of furniture perfectly designed for climbing up… and therefore falling off! 2) Because it’s an open plan piece of furniture there is nowhere safe to store things away from little fingers so I guess it’s only for storing toys. 3) Does the unit fasten to the wall because it’d be worried about it falling over and crushing my little one – which brings me back to the climbing frame thing again. I’ve read that this was designed by some first time parents so I guess they have used it successfully but personally I’d want my concerns answered before considering this for my child’s room.

Of course the nursery is the one room in the house where you want to be most confident of the strength and durability of your furniture purchases. This is why it is difficult to always make eco-conscious choices when purchasing though thanks to your recommendations and tips I think a few new families will be well on their way to green nurseries.

I do like the gray cot and the size of it indicates that it will cater for the baby through to school age. This is a great design and safe too!

I like the sleepi crib. This is functional, but ooh so gorgeous for your baby and toddler. Well done. Far too often we buy that crib that is only useful for a short few months. This is a perfect example of dual purpose.

We just finished our eco-friendly nursery and decided on the Oeuf Sparrow crib in Grey because of the neutral color. I did not want white in the nursery and did not want a dark wood, so it worked perfect.

I really like the project table and stools, but I am having trouble finding it. The red and natural color scheme is just perfect for my baby’s play room. I tried looking for it at several local stores and also on Amazon, but no luck… can you tell me where to get it?
