There is a need and therefore a market for bathroom products. Most people given the opportunity would use soap and water and therefore would need a place to store it; mundane as this is, this is being done by hundreds of millions of people all around the world that also have this need. It's big. Material extraction, processing, product development, manufacturing, distribution, administration are all necessary to make anything and all comes at a cost. Plastic products can only be made cheap by the economy of scale. The more you produce the less it costs per product to make, the more you make the more you pollute and deplete resources, depending on whether they are renewable or not. usually somewhere in the process either people are getting exploited and not being paid properly for their work or legislations are nonexistent or not complied to and resources are being exploited or handled in a non environmentally friendly process. Everything comes at a price! Everything is comparable. If you get something on the cheap, think about it. It is usually because somebody, somewhere is paying the real cost for it.

They look nice but they are still bathroom accessories which is something I won’t put too much fuss about. Do you know that there are some people out there who choose to live without soap and shampoo? Just goes to show that being green is really a lifestyle choice.

I really don’t get what is so green about ‘green’ products nowadays. They are lauded as being manufactured from natural sources, and yet they usually cost a lot more than their plastic counterparts. $20 for a soap pump? I’ll pass.

Just beautiful! Bamboo! I cannot describe in writing the beauty of this timber. It can almost bend in the application, yet it is tough and can be applied with any type of finish.
