Natural beauty always begins with the skin. Not everyone is naturally blessed with the gift of perfect skin, though. The more one realizes all of the amazing products and skin care tips there are out there, the more one can see that natural beauty isn’t so natural after all. In fact, it usually takes a great deal of work for someone to look like they have natural beauty. The efforts, though, are well worth it in the end.
If you want natural beauty, it will really boil down to your daily skin care habits. Understanding what the skin needs in order to have a healthy glow and avoid the signs of aging is what will ultimately lead to natural beauty.
Hydration – Hydration, for instance, is key to having soft, smooth skin. It doesn’t get more natural than drinking water. The skin is in great need of hydration which is why getting adequate amounts of water will indeed increase the health and luster of your skin. In fact, the average woman should be drinking about 91 ounces of water every day.
Vitamin E Oil – In addition to drinking water to hydrate the skin from the inside, there are other options for hydrating the skin on the outside. Vitamin E oil has been known to smooth, hydrate and improve elasticity of the skin. It’s completely natural which means it’s going to be easy on both you and the environment.
Avoid Chemicals and Perfumes – Choosing only natural items to apply to the skin is paramount for natural beauty. Avoiding lotion, cream and make up that uses chemicals or fragrances that can irritate the skin is paramount. Harsh chemicals and perfumes will not only hurt your skin in the long run, but it will also not be great for the environment. Instead, switch to mineral based makeup and you will reap the benefits for years to come.
Nutrient-Dense Diet – Something else that should be done on a daily basis is getting adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals. Health supplements are all well and good but nothing really compares with the nutrition that can be derived from fresh fruits and vegetables. Ensuring that adequate nutrition is provided in the diet will have phenomenal effects upon the natural beauty of your skin.
Remember also that fruits and veggies have more uses than consumption. They also can be used topically on a daily basis with phenomenal results as well.
Tomatoes – Tomatoes, for instance, provide vitamins A and C which means they can really benefit your skins’ natural beauty. Simply cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin. Wait a few minutes and wash it off. The results will definitely be noticeable and the procedure is so simple that it can be added to your daily skin care routine.
Cucumbers – Cucumbers are another wonderful option for a daily natural beauty routine. Cucumbers can help with their astringent properties for tired eyes. Those who struggle with cellulite would have great use for cucumbers also. Simply cut a slice of cucumber and rub it on the areas with cellulite and you will be amazed at the results. Indeed, there are several natural beauty tips to think about adding to your daily beauty routine.

bKLMNa Good point. I hadn’t thought about it quite that way.
I just love natural remedies! I am in the process of putting together a routine for myself with some extras like natural exfoliating etc. Right now, all I use is pure olive oil moisturizer, honey masks and I take my Vidazorb OPC age defense! I really want to get more recipes and am so excited about all of the natural ways to take care of our skin!
Great information! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now. Your tips are great! I think I can use them for my skin care. Thanks!
Thanks for the extensive list. It’s definitely true that your daily skin care habits have the most impact. And that’s not just what you put on your skin but what you put into your body in general.
The one thing I won’t be eating ever though is cucumbers. I’ll use them topically but the buck stops there. They are simply disgusting in taste (in my humble opinion)

Awesome post! To me my skin is my most precious asset. I try to do everything I can to protect it. The tips you presented above are excellent. Of course I was aware of most of them but I did not realize tomatoes could be so beneficial to your skin.
