Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Soothes Irritated Baby Skin

by admin

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I was pregnant with my fourth baby, I received a tube of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste in a baby gift basket. My son was 10 pounds at birth and was rather chunky! At just a day old, you could see how irritated his inner thighs were from the diaper rubbing. It was not until I was getting ready to leave the hospital and the nurse suggest I get some Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, that I remembered the name. I did not need to get any, as I already had a tube I had received as a gift.

Since the nurse recommended it, I decided to give it a try. I mean, if health care professionals are recommending, it should be good right?

After a day of using it with every diaper change, I noticed the redness started to subside in those fat little baby thigh areas. We decided to continue use even after the skin had healed to prevent it from happening again. Little did I know, we would end up using it for the next year as a preventive for our son on his sensitive skin.

Even though it is called Butt Paste, it can be used in other areas. As my son started to grow he would be very irritated under his arms, especially in the summer time. Since he was a “thick baby”, his arms were bug and the moisture from sweat under his arms would cause major irritation. I decided to try using the Butt Paste in his armpit area to keep the delicate skin protected and keep the moisture off. I used a thin layer under the arms daily after his baths. The raw area was able to heal in a few days.

Some other well-known brands are thick and hard to wipe off, which I do not like.  The Boudreaux’s Butt Paste wipes off as easy as it rubs on! It’s no wonder it has been featured on The Oprah Show and in People Magazine, because it works great for diaper rash and as a skin protectant.

Even though I never had to use it for diaper rash, I am sure it works as well! I know a few other mommies who use the Butt Paste and swear by it.

If you have a little one that is prone to diaper rash or irritated skin in the diaper area, you’ve got to give Boudreaux a try!
