		<description>I do most of the things on your list, but since I rent I am using an old, top-loading machine and an old dryer. I do hang dry certain items.

I wish I could convince my landlord to buy an energy efficient, front loading machine. Oh well. At least I started using &quot;green&quot; detergent.</description>
